Gentlemen,
I have been volunteered (shanghaied) into being co-chair of an RMC Foundation fundraising campaign. The attached letter lays out the situation quite succinctly.
The campaign will reach out RMC Club Branches, ex-cadets through Class Secretaries, RMC Staff & Cadets as well as families and friends of the expedition club members. Wednesday last the Ottawa Branch contributed a “kick-start” donation of $1000. To “kick-start” donations from individual ex-cadets I am reaching out to my email list of 69ers with a challenge. My list is not exhaustive so please share with anyone I've missed:
- I will donate $50 (to a maximum of $1000) for each one of you who makes a donation to this effort.
- Donate as much as you like 😄 but a minimum of $50 should be the target.
- I don't need to know anything other than to get an email from you indicating your commitment.
- Donations will be accrued to your Foundation lifetime giving as well as the Class of '69 lifetime giving.
- Note that donations before year-end will ensure you have a tax receipt to offset your 2018 taxes👍
